Tremors, I feel tremors; not necessarily bad but definitely powerful. In the last few days, have you been feeling unusually anxious, impatient or cautious? Have you been having difficulty sleeping well? The reason might just be found in the sky. Friday is a rare and potent astrological event and the energy building up to it can, and probably is affecting your moods. Up above, there is a new super moon, equinox and a solar eclipse all within a 24 hour period. Wow, it’s big.
Because of the magnitude of this particular moon, I consulted a dear astrologer friend, Julia Wawrzyniak-Beyer, to give me the lowdown (If you are looking for an excellent astrologer and tarot reader please contact her at Beyer2373@bell.net).
This moon time marks the end of a long and somewhat daunting cycle. Woot, woot! It’s the beginning of the astrological calendar, a time of high energy and an excellent, important time to do rituals of intention. Monday March 16th marked the 7th and last exact Pluto/Uranus square in a pattern that started in 2012. For many, it has been a very turbulent ride. As it moves out, it’s a great time to reflect upon what has happened in the last three years, particularly around love and relationships. Take a look and see how you are different now. Growth, change and transformation are beautiful things. This square will bring us the final inner battle. The last confrontation will help you decide which way to go in a big important part of your life. To galvanize this energy, invite friends over, make food, set intentions and most importantly, celebrate! We are at the end of pluto/Uranus cycle and it’s a VERY POWERFUL time for change.
New moons are seen as a time of new beginnings. It is a great time to conquer fears and self-imposed limitations. I encourage you to do something bold and unexpected to utilize the power in the skies. It’s time to do it differently than ever before. Don’t hold yourself back. That is an old energy that simply won’t fit the new, evolving you.
The equinox is a Pagan holiday that celebrates the equality of light and dark. It’s a time of balance, unity, and cohesion. The days are getting longer and with it, a whole new cycle of life is emerging. I am simply tickled by the daily signifiers of spring; the sounds of birds and sweet air in the breeze. Use the balanced light energy to root your intention.
Eclipses have been seen as good and bad omens since the dawn of time. Solar eclipses only happen during the new moon cycle. The sun will be covered by the shadow of the moon. When the sun reappears, it is a powerful time of beginning and manifestation. This eclipse is in Pisces which may account for your watery, emotional demeanor as of late. Fret not, it’s all transforming. Sadly, this eclipse won’t be visible from North America, but will be visible from Greenland, Iceland, Europe, North Africa and northwestern Asia.
Most importantly, be incredibly (even hyper) mindful of your thoughts and actions from now until the full moon on April 4th (Easter weekend). Pour all of your energy into creating and taking action towards a new plan, a new direction, and a new life. It’s a great time to start that book, heal an old relationship, or indulge your most romantic inclinations. I encourage you to mark this new, powerful time with daily rituals throughout this period. Take action every day from the new moon until the full moon. Light a candle, say a prayer, collect a few sprigs of new life and place them on your altar. Your intention and action will powerfully activate this energy to create the life you have always dreamed of. Use intuition to guide you to what you want to do during this period.
In this Piscean time, new energy can make you feel nervous. Sometimes we fear what we don’t already know. I want you to know that “new” could (and probably will) be a lot better than ever before. With Pisces’ powerful vision, the balancing energy of the equinox, a solar eclipse and a new super moon, you have amazing celestial energy supporting you. Sensual lovers, nothing is going to stop you now.
In the shadowy, mysterious light of the eclipsed sun,
