Happy New Year: Here’s to an Extraordinary 2015

Happy New Year 2015

Sensual lovers, wow, just wow. 2014 was a pivotal year for me. I want to thank you deeply for being a part of my world of aromatherapy, high vibe health, sensuality and true beauty. This year included a book deal, six months in Rio, a unexpected car accident, hoop gigs, a lover or two and so much more.  I am both excited and humbled at what’s ahead. In 2015, I will launch Aromatherapy for Sensual Living Essential Oils for the Ecstatic Soul, continue the SenLiv Mama project, do a west coast Aromatherapy tour and release a little secret I am holding close to my heart; it promises to be the most sensual yet.  What is happening now is the culmination of long and winding road that, in some parts was treacherous, in others, sublime.

RIO New Years Eve 2014

I learned a lot this year. I will share it with you in the hopes that it provides you with inspiration and motivation.

1. Trust in the divine plan

Yep, corny but true, those missteps, mistakes, failures, and facepalms provide the fertile soil for things to grow and prosper. You really can’t mess it up when you are following your truth and committed to doing your best, without exception. There is divine magic behind the scenes. Keep going.

2. Open your heart

We get hurt, we get closed. It can make us bitter and resentful, however that is not our true nature. Our hearts are far more powerful when they are open and thriving with love. Try this experiment: Think of something or someone you love a lot. Focus on your heart feeling good, open, clear. Stay there. Now invite your heart to open even bigger. Your capacity to love is infinite. Love it all.

3. Be mindful of lust

Lust is hot and exciting but often burns out quickly. Lust is animalistic and brought on by hormonal surges rather than an authentic connection between you and another person. Lust can make us do some epically stupid things. You are a sensual lover and therefore aiming to be above such low frequencies. Slow down, enjoy the ride. Sensuality is so much sweeter when it’s an authentic soul connection.

4. Correct yourself

Oh glorious humanity! We mess up all the time. We unintentionally hurt people, say inappropriate things, and make promises that we can’t keep. If you find yourself in this position, be honest and sincere with the person/people who you have hurt. Your vulnerability is a great step to helping them reveal their truths and build a stronger, healthier relationship. There is a beautiful Hoʻoponopono saying for just these circumstances.

I love you

I am sorry

Please forgive me

Thank you

5. Don’t be a door mat

Yes, we mess up however don’t let someone manipulate you to feel badly because of their shortcomings or lack of personal work. The best and strongest thing you can do is be firm in your love; often times that means remembering to love yourself first. Water will wear down a rock. Your love can change the world. Be firm in love.

6. Don’t wear heels on a mountain

If you recall, I lived in Vidigal (on the side of a steep mountain) while living in Brazil. Wearing heels was both insane and a personal liability. I shook my head in disbelief when I saw stilettoed women walk up the mountain. The point is both funny and poignant. Don’t intentionally make your life more difficult than it needs to be. You run the risk of hurting yourself in more ways than one. Choose a path that will support your needs and during difficult passages. Sensuality isn’t struggle.

7. Love it all

When all else fails, love. Love it all. Love it often. Love heals wounds and softens egos. Love is my weapon of choice because it works and causes no harm. Love as an action. Love even when it hurts because it will help to rebuild the broken bits. Love so fiercely that only love can be reflected back to you. I love you, Sensual lover. Hold that in the sticky moments.

 2015 in heart shape

Here’s to an extraordinary 2015. I wish and pray that all your wishes come true. I wish that we will keep evolving our humanity to create more peace and love on the planet. Please continue to like and share these posts. We are building an army of Sensual Lovers committed to living their best, most authentic, most beautiful life with the potent help of nature and all the best stuff on earth.

Viva!

In my heart and soul,

Elana
