Sensual lovers… I am going to share a little secret with you about the power of essential oils.
By using different oils, you can easily adjust the mood of any room or situation. This can be a powerful tool to purify the air after a stressful interaction or elevate the mood to create a sexy night. With a little knowledge, you can use them to get exactly what you want every time, without fail. Pure Perfume (purfrequency.com) is potent flirtation.
Many people are not yet fully acquainted with the power of essential oils. That’s where I come in. I often invite friends and lovers over for an aromatherapy party to show them the different ways to use essential oils. It’s a total game changer. Many people may have an inkling into the power of aromatherapy but tend to stop at oil of oregano or peppermint. Why stop there when there are hundreds to choose from that are equally effective and delicious?
At an essential oil soiree, we inhale, ingest, and explore specific essential oils in the correct concentrations to create an exact ambiance and atmosphere. Much like a really good DJ, I take my guest on a journey into their senses. People are treated to a complete aroma saturation using only the highest, purest quality oils out there (It’s crucial to use only high quality essential oils, if not, you simply won’t be getting the results you want to achieve). The results are both electrifying and enlivening.
We start by simply inhaling a variety of essential oils. I demonstrate the difference between a top, middle and base note. The purpose to help people see how different oils affect mood, energy, and sex appeal. I like to go top to bottom.
Top notes make you feel happy and light. They generally appear at the top of a tree from fruits like oranges, lemons and grapefruits. These oils tend to lose their aromatic potency most quickly.
- Middle notes tend to linger longer and provide the body for a blend. Middle notes tend to be grasses, flowers, seeds, barks, bushes, and leaves. The middle note category is the largest in the aromatherapy apothecary.
Lastly, there are base notes that anchor a blend for hours. Not surprisingly most base notes come from roots but also resins, some potent flowers, barks and seed pods.
We sample oils by placing a drop on a tissue or on our hands and inhale deeply for a few minutes. If you are doing this at home, I recommend that you pause for 10-30 minutes between aromas to give your guests time to understand their unique signature. With each aroma, take note of how the energy changes in the room. Are people giggling? Mellow? Fired up? It’s a wonderful way to intimately understand the oils and their properties.
We then move into the euphorics. These are a totally different class of essential oils and true to their name; they cause euphoric elation. Some of them are aphrodisiacs; some are mood elevators; others make you feel like you are falling in love. All of them are incredibly potent in their strength.
My favorite way to indulge in euphorics involves consuming 1-2 drops of essential oils on different food items. Many people believe that eating essential oils is potentially dangerous. Please let me dispel this myth. Quality steam-distilled essential oils are a very safe, ancient, and concentrated form of herbal medicine. Taking the oils internally is a divine communion of the highest and holiest nectar. If you are taking in essential oils internally, please use 1-2 drops at a time with a maximum of 10 drops over the course of a day. Check the GRAS list for more information. Most essential oils are too strongly aromatic for pregnant bellies.
Place 1 drop of essential oil on 1 tablespoon of raw honey. Stir well. Take micro bites of the honey. Let it slowly roll over all the taste centers on your tongue. Take note of where the oils go in your body to see if there is an opening in specific areas.
If honey isn’t your thing, experiment with other food items such as: raw chocolate bars, fruit, smoothies, fruit juices olive oils, coconut oils and more. Use your imagination.
Below is a list of essential oils that are guaranteed euphorics. The oils listed in the brackets are complimentary oils that work to enhance the potency of the blend. Use in moderation.
There are so many ways to explore essential oils is to anoint your body with them. One of my favorite ways is to do hand and foot massage either alone or with a partner. Many of my favorite oils for this exercise are also in the euphoric category. I like to use sandalwood because it is earthy, warm and masculine combined with cardamom; a potent aphrodisiac. I also use just a dab of palo santo; an oil that helps to clear unwanted energies and brings in the cosmic connection.
There are other oils that are in the euphorics category that are certainly aphrodisiacs but shouldn’t be ingested (either because they are absolute extractions or too strong to taste) such as jasmine, vetiver, clary sage, frankincense, and patchouli. Feel free to experiment with different massage or bath combinations. It’s a toe-curling experience.

The more you use essential oils, the more they reveal their secrets to you. Feel free to experiment and create your own rituals to bring this ancient and sensual practice right into your home. It’s a party they will never forget.
